Common Tern

it was 12th Feb'15 n i was so excited when i bought Tamron 150-600mm.1st day it was very difficult to take shots handheld,so next day morning again i went at Tapi river and experimenting my self.

i was framing the flying Common Tern, took 3-4 photos and tired due to feel heaviness of lens and moved ahead.luckily i saw that Common Tern was sitting on a boat and very carefully started taking shots by going close to that tern.

Paddyfield Pipit

When i was on birding for Collard Pranicole, i saw a movement on ground from far. due to ground colour and bird colour n 6.30pm so cudn't see proper. so tried to see in camera by zooming n it was Paddyfield Pipit. took 3-4 shots random.

Pheasant-tailed Jacana

As i was on Long drive to enjoy monsoon with my family on rout of my birding sites at Surat outskirt, i had seen Pheasant-tailed Jacana at 2 lakes. didn't took my camera with me so next day went with camera to frame this beauty as in my dream catch list.
Pheasant-tailed Jacana was so far away so unable take good n close photos.but i like this shot coz i took while it stated flying,i missed early frames n even face is lil bit turn to other side.Pheasant-tailed Jacana is still in my Dream shot list, will go soon for good n sharp photo.

Black-breasted Weaver Female

i was on the way to catch Pheasant-tailed Jacana n stopped at one water logged area as seen Little Grebe. After clicking one shot sudden seen many Black-breasted Weaver and tried some shots,out of them this Black-breasted Weaver Female is best for me.

i always want to catch crown feathers of Common Hoopoe but after 4month passed since i bought tammy still didnt get chance.

Knob-billed Duck

When i see Knob-billed Duck i was excited coz it was my 1st sighting n took 2-3 shots from car. Thanks Vijayendra bhai and Sartaj bhai for identifying the duck from running car. most time i missed good shots so taken very caution n tried to take close shot but he noticed and fly away but m happy with this image.didn't get chance to take side pose.

Knob-billed Duck

Birding with friends is always memorable.we were went for Asian Paradise Flycatcher at Agricultural University Navsari,after taking some snaps decided to go other place Nani Kakrad, where Sarus Crane had seen. we were unable to go inside as road was muddy due to rain and we went other place, sultanpur.

we found them beside road, took good photos and then went to Sultanpur wetland. luckily find Knob-billed Duck. it was my 1st sighting.we had took good photos and finally take flying shot.weather was so cloudy, image become much softer after crop n shadow tool.

Black-breasted Weaver

i was on the way to Bardoli to eat Khichdi lol, very popular.before reach at bardoli,didn't remember the place, i saw eagle flying down and wanted to catch it but cudn't get sharp photo as usual my old mistake. while returning to my car,i see this bird. clicked only 2-3 shots.

Collared Pratincole

On morning of 1/6/15 i had clicked Sarus Crane n Collared Pratincole but image was not up to my mark as windy weather n dust storm so i decided to go again in evening. i reached around at 5pm n searching Collared Pratincole but couldn't find so go further ahead, after driving of 3+km on dusty road i found pair,very carefully started clicking by going close to them on semi-sit position and i had walked in this position aprx 500+ mtr for this shot. then after i am exhausted so stopped clicking.

Sarus Crane

when i was on birding for collared Partincole,i saw pair of Sarus Crane and excited to frame them as i had clicked in past but cudn't get good images as i was far away and when i tried to go closure,they fly away.so took precaution to didn't get noticed by these large birds n go closure n closure. got some beautiful images.
due to so much wind and dust storm it was difficult for me on handheld framing.

Vigors's Sunbird

i was with my family trip on Don,its a mountain area of Ahwa,Gujarat on Border of Maharashtra. i just want to see this place. after returning from top of hill to down, we had stopped at one place of road side for breakfast and find a place below a tree of Palash aka Flame of the forest.
after 2+ min hear a sound of Sunbird and when i look towards Palash flowers tree, quickly picked up my camera and focused handheld n took one shot.when i saw in lcd, it was Vigors's Sunbird. so again started clicking coz it was my 1st sighting of Vigors's Sunbird, after 5+ shot i get this flying shot. its not sharp due to handheld, little bit difficult to lift and focus on tammy for me and bird is little out of focus.

Oriental Magpie Robin

Taking Sharp photos is a great achievement in photography. every morning around 7.30 t0 8 am i go at my backyards and searching birds for crisp photo. on morning of 5th june'15 i was looking for bird and Oriental Magpie Robin Male came n sit on iron pipe, for my improvement i had clicked and amazingly this photo is super sharp for me.

Heart-spotted Woodpecker

Sometimes you get lottery for nothing. i was searching White-rumped Shama, i find White-naped Woodpecker Male and Female and find this black colored bird was going upwards by small jumps on tree branch,it was far away so ignored at first time but try to focus and click so i had taken 3shots handheld.even didn't seen in cam display and i walked ahead. after 2 days i had transferred pic to pc,i am so disappointed after looking this beauty...why i had avoid to click this beauty?????

Collared Pratincole

As my fb friend shared this bird location i want to take close pic as usual.this place is difficult to locate but some how i manage and reach that location.i forget to take my binocular so its hard to find this beauty and even forgotten my tripod.
with tamron 150-600mm its hard for me with handheld n so windy weather. i find sarus cranes n taking snaps of them with try to go closer n closer. that time my luck turns n Collared Pratincole came to give this shot.

White-naped Woodpecker Male and Female

It was my 2nd trip to Vansda National park for birding on 31st May'15. i was searching for White-rumped Shama where i saw during my last visit and sudden this couple came in my radar.
it was very difficult to take duo pic as male was very active n moving fast.so took only 2 shots of this duo.
