Glossy ibis

Again n again i went at tena wetland for good shots of winter birds.on 3rd Sept'15 around at 3.30pm, i was returning from inside of wetland towards my car. i seen this Glossy ibis n thought for close up shots so i moved towards this birds very carefully but mostly i had observed one bird irritates even i am far away of them n they were Black-winged Stilt n Red-wettled Lapwings.They noticed me from far n with chirping loudly fly towards me so other water birds n ducks noticed me n fly away.
same thing happened but myself freeze at one point for some time so Glossy ibis ignored me.after 2-4min slowly n carefully again i had started moved towards glossy ibis n took some shots but same thing repeated by lapwings n stilts so this Glossy ibis fly away.somehow i had changed my camera setting very fast from center af to all af n clicked 3-4 shots n got only this shot.

Flower with Buds

On 12th Sept'15 i was on Birding with my friend Paragbhai for Vulture in Surat outskirt. as local villagers told them so we had searched them in given detailed place but we cudn't find them so we went to Gaviyar lake for Red munia. due to heavy monsoon the humidity goes high n with hot climate we were wet with so much perspiration, even our shoes sole were filled with mud n feel like walking with iron shoes.
1st time m so much tired n exhausted,even didn't get shots of Red munia.so we had decided to circle the lake. i was not in mood to take any photo n Paragbhai shows me this lovely flowers with buds.with heavy lens on tripod somehow i managed a frame n took only one shot as so much tired.

Indian Roller

Yesterday i was on leave n around 8am went for birding. till 10am didn't get good photos even took around 20-30 photos so decided to return home around at 10.30am.
Driving slowly to see beside the roads for any new winter bird as they started to visit my nearby area. sudden see Indian Roller sitting on a electric wire, i just avoid it but thought that the electric wire were not much high level as road was lil higher level so reversed my car n very carefully parked.thought that Indian Roller will fly away so i set my af point to all n very carefully focused n tried to get closure as i was noticed,it fly away but i was ready for flying shot n clicked 4-5 shots n out of  5, 3 shots where Indian Roller was in frame n enough sharp.

European Roller

While i was at Idar on 6th Sept'15 for a Medico legal case, i was on way to Ambaji around at 5pm. after 5-6km away from Idar, i saw this beauty sit on a wire so stopped my car n reversed for taking good frame.
taken pics from car coz its 1st time for me to click this bird then came out n crossed the road away from it n started clicking with slowly going towards the European Roller.finally got good close shot but background was light blue n bird color same, not looks good in this frame.

Common Kingfisher

When you are thinking for best n got better than best,its a wow moments.whenever i get time, try go at my favorite place for birding.
it was around 4pm n bright sunny day with intermittent clouds,i was searching for new winter birds at wetland.while i was finding Red-necked Phalarope, seen a Common Kingfisher on broken n dried tree branch, 30-40ft away from me.as i was wanna shoot video of it half sit n walked towards this beauty.
this shot was taken 10ft away n there is no Photoshop in background,its natural.

Brahminy Kite

i didnt get more chance to click Raptors.on 28th August 2015 i was at tena wetland, Surat outskirt to find n clicking new birds.i had walked more then 3-4km circling the wetland but didnt find new birds.
it was bright sunny day with clear blue sky n some birds were flying so i was looking in my camera, sudden i saw 2 birds were coming towards me as i thought they were Black kite, at first i ignored but when they are close to me i just focused n it was different. so sudden un-mount my camera from tripod n focused handheld n clicked continuously...it was a wow moment coz this was a new raptors for me.when i zoom in my camera display,it was a Brahminy Kite.
