Blue-cheecked Bee-eater

Everyone Loves Sleeping during winter but after entered in wildlife Photography,i was eager to wake-up early to go for Photography.
on 04/11/16 wake up around at 6.30am and went to Sultanpur wetland near Navsari but 90% wetland's water was dried due to local person by transferred outside.its a lack of local political and government interest to conserve such sites towards bird habitats.
now what to do....around 7.45am thought to go at Dharasana wetland,Bilimora.Reached around at 8.30am n i was roaming surrounding areas.i was returning from Dandi-road to coastal highway sudden seen Bee-eater was siting on a wire very close as same clicked Blue-tailed Bee-eater on 18/09/16.very carefully went closure thru my cheetah beside the road and result is here.

Eurasian Cuckoo - Hepatic Female

Get  a call from my new birder friend Bhavesh Shah for birding site near by Bilimora and we went for birding on morning of 08/11/16 at Dharasana Wetland.
Around 8am we reached there and i was known to this area so went inside for Marsh Harrier as i knew,where it sight and we got it.Then i told to return at wetland area at coastal highway for waders.
After drive of 1km i sudden stopped the car as i had sighted a Snipe from distance but it fly away and get inside the small bushes,200+mtr so we came out from car n waiting to come out.after 5min from my left side,i saw a bird was flying towards me and thought Asian Koel as per flight pattern. just amazed to watch it and forget to focus. while it reach to us,before 50+mtr it turn the way and sit over electric wire.then i realize,it has a orange color and its different.without delay i moved to click even i told my friend to click as it was different.but it gives only 10sec for clicks and luckily i got 3-5 shots and fly away.

Western Reef Egret - White Morph

As a story posted White-rumped Vulture(Juvenile) we reached at Bhuj and did some shopping then took dinner there n went our destination,reached around at 11pm.did check in,get fresh n sleep around at 1am.
myself wake up around at 5am n get ready to go. After getting fresh, we were waiting for our friend Dilipsinh as he was coming from Mundra.he came around at 6.30am n on the way for Mission Waders of Mandvi beach.
within 30min we reached there,virenbhai parked car n all ready for go inside the beach.we had walked 1-2km for our mission n seen beauties there,it was pleasant feeling to see breeding plumage with greater flamingos.
I did crawling 1st time in sand with sea water and result was magically superb,you can check my articles.we have to shoot photos till 10.30am coz temperature will gone above 42 degree centigrade and it was much difficult for us.So around 9am we moved more away from our car to find Bar-tailed Godwit,Crab Plover, Eurasian Oystercatcher etc but it was bad luck n we didn't sighted.
While we were coming back,fisherman were put off their fishing net from sea to catch out fishes and Western Reef Egret trying catch fish inside the net.we all were shoot photos but i had shoot video too.

Chameleon

i was shocked when my friend Dharmesh Kadiwala aka DK called me around at 4pm and asked "doctor get ready for night roam in car & photography at 6pm",coz we have to roam in Bardoli outskirt for Leopard.we had read in news paper n even got info that Leopard was sighting since 2 days.
i went to DK's home around at 6.30pm on 19/02/16,parked my car then we went towards Bardoli in DK's Duster.After reaching there,took our dinner of Khichdi and Hiren came around 7pm.
we had checked lights,camera settings and journey started around at 7.30pm.i was so excited as it was my 1st experience,even little afraid.
We were roaming here n there surrounding Bardoli for sighting of Leopard.Around 11pm we sighted this beauty n cudn't stop our self to came out for his portrait photography.

Sarus Crane (Pair)

On 02/06/15, i went to click Asian Pardise-flycatcher at Navsari Agricultural university.i had messaged my friend Minal Patel to came with me as she was student of Forestry in last year there n thought one person must there due to local.
we had meet and went to location but cudn't sight Asian Pardise-Flycatcher so Minal asked to call me when it come again and she also told to click collared Partincole at Navsari outskirt.Location was bit difficult so while i was on the way to my home,went to that location.
i reached there around at 11am after talking with local person for exact location.i saw pair of Sarus Crane and excited to frame them as i had clicked in past but cudn't get good images as i was far away and when i tried to go closure,they fly away.so think to move while they are not looking at me to didn't get noticed by these large birds n go closure n closure. got some beautiful images.
Due to so much wind and dust storm it was difficult for me on handheld framing but Love this frame.
