Velvet-fronted Nuthatch

As Story Posted in Malabar Parakeet  i was on a terrace of allotted studio room of Club Mahindra on 05/02/17 with new friend Mandar Prabhu.we had sighted more than 10 species in the morning.
while i was clicking Malabar Barbet around at 8.40am,it fly away so i was following and sudden seen a Indian Tit.i had clicked 4-5 shot n it fly away.withing 2-3 sec another bird came there but it was sitting like a hanging n color was blue.without doubt n delay clicked 5-7 shot for record shot as it was little away from me.it didn't give chance to get closure and fly away.

Malabar Grey Hornbill

Early morning Photography after just sunrise is bit difficult for me as sunlight was started to increase and balance in camera with focus,sometimes i forget to change the settings.
it was a 6.30am morning of 05/02/17 and i was on terrace of allotted club mahindra's studio room.The temperature was at 10 degree n windy weather so thought to go and sleep again coz feel was about of 8 degree and i had felt minimum of 10 degree.but i stick there for new birds and i was lucky.
i had avoided clicks due to low light till 7am and a Malabar Grey Hornbill Pair came close to me on tree and clicked some good close shots.after 8-9min both hornbill sit near by each other but i was unable to focus clearly due they are hiding in leaf even though clicked 3shots.in 1st shot tail was cut so zoom out n clicked but it was out of focus n 3rd click was ok as forget to change f/number to focus both hornbill.but one of them jump on another branch.

Malabar Barbet

As story posted in Malabar Parakeet i had sighted n clicked more than 10 species on 05/02/17 at club mahindra, Madikeri resort.i had also sighted Malabar Barbet but cudnt get front pose as it was sitting on back side of tree due to many birds were on front side.
Around at 8.30am one Malabar Barbet came front of me and clicked a shot but still got back pose,i moved back to get good shot and luckily it turn towards me.without delay clicked 3-4 shot n got this one.after getting this shot,one Indian blackbird came n attack or what,Malabar Barbet fly away.

Malabar Parakeet

During my Club Mahindra trip,Madikeri, clicked more than 10species very closely.i had had check in there on 02/02/17 n have many visits at near by area with my family to enjoy other than birding.mostly we go after 9.30am so i spent time from 7am to 9am for birding in Club Mahindra's whole resort by walking as did evening birding walk.
before i proceed story,i met with one bird watcher Mandar Prabhu accidentally on 02/02/17 while i was about to end my bird walk at my studio apartment.we were going and he was looking at one tree n asked me to look as his binocular was in his room.and we became a friend.
usually i didn't find more bird till 5th of feb as 5th was our check out day so we both decided to go birding together as Mandarbhai was some how not joined me in last days.i told him to come on our terrace and i reached on top around at 7am.he came after 8am then we had sighted more than 10 species in a single day.
we both were amazed as what to see n which to click.while i was clicking Blyth's Starling,one Malabar Parakeet female was very close to me n clicked as usual n it was a great shot of Malabar Parakeet.

Little Spiderhunter

Getting check in at Club Mahindra resort in Madikeri after kabini, story posted in Tiger with Macaque Kill around at 2pm on 02/02/17 been refresh.it was amazing experience to get Studio Apartment.
There was planned to go bird watching in evening so contacted reception and one bird watcher was with me around 4.30pm.i had asked for how many birds sighted n where to go then he replied,in this area he had sighted 50+ birds till now.i was so amazed.
while we were talking n walking he told me,sir look there,its a Little Spiderhunter.at first i was unable to locate as much low light but sighted n clicked.gives only 5shots n fly away.

Tiger with macaque Kill

After long time, i went out of city to celebrate our Anniversary and the destination was Madikeri,Coorg, Karnataka.before reaching Madikeri,i had planned to visit Kabini for Black Panther.so they give a evening safari on 1/2/17 and morning boat safari on 2/2/17.
around at 8.45am, i came home from hectic night shift  at hospital on 30/1/17 and we have to go my birth town udvada by train. The train timing was 12:05pm but due to cab booking,it was delayed.thanks to cab driver who take shortest n fastest way so we reach around at 12:03pm at Surat railway station.Around at 1.15pm we reached at udvada station.my dad picked us n reached our home.stayed there for one night n in morning picked a train to Andheri for mumbai airport.flight was around at 1.15pm but its delayed for 2+hr but finally we reached at Bangalore airport around at 5pm.i had booked a cab there n went to Mysore.stayed for one night and next day we were on the way to Jungle Lodge Kabini.
Around 1.15pm we reached JLR,Kabini. after getting fresh, we meet all guest at Golghar for tea/coffee.then came back to room n went alone for birding in side the resort till 3.30pm.Again we all meet at golghar for safari. i meet a humble person who is a Naturalist mr.Prasanna for zone A safari as talked with JLR.After 10+min of talks,We were in the jeep safari with two couple.in which group, one couple was Jigar shah from Mumbai and other guy was with big lens,who was a pediatrician Dr.Shashank Gowda.
After getting entry from check post we were in the Kabini.we all were looking here n there for wild cats but nothing found.we reached at a pond and waited for 5+min for any call but nothing so went inside and after a drive of 10+min sudden i saw a Tiger, jump on macaque n shouted(in low pitch voice) to stop jeep.due to sudden breaking,lost most focusing of tiger, even thopugh shoot for 2 click n boom.got my 1st shot of tiger.it was soft n at 600mm, missed to frame whole tiger.before i zoom out my lens,tiger went inside.waited for 30-40min to tiger came out as macaque was small so it was less then breakfast for tiger but didn't came out from bushes.
