Thol Bird Sanctuary is a good place bird photography,you can sight many types of birds.i was there for our 1st meet of Gujarat birders on 28/02/16, story posted at <a href="http://www.yugworld.net/2016/03/common-pochard.html#.V5hEtUc9IqI">Common Pochard</a>.<br />
After intro with friends and breakfast,we moved towards lake in 6-8 group.after walking some distance we had sighted many waders but far away,even though we had sit at one place.we had taken many shots till 10am.sudden i saw a different type of duck,far away from us.i had focused and clicked.zoom in lcd for id but forget the name even told to my group members to click.it was far away from us so clicked only 4-5 shots and here is best from it.<br />

Birding in Morning gives peace of my mind but mostly i prefer evening session for birding as it gives time from 3pm to sunset so good n original light comes.<br />
on 30/06/16 my friend dr.Pragnesh was with me at Tena wetland,he came from silvasa n reached around at 4pm,after picking me we reached there at 4.30pm.i told him to sit at my place from where i clicked many birds n this area also gives superb n original green background.we have to step down little n he went very carefully.as i don't want to go there as i had clicked some good photos on previous day.even though thought to step down.i had gave my camera to Pragnesh n started stepping down very carefully but due to little rain the small part slide down,i had tried myself to stop but when i stop,my left foot was in the mud...lol,my left shoe,sock n lower end of pant was filled with mud.even though calm myself n sit there for birds.<br />
And result is here.<br />

Common Moorhen with Chicks

Since my photography life of 2yrs, i didn't get chance to frame Chicks of birds/duck. during my birding for flying shots of Pied Kingfisher, while i was taking photo of Common Moorhen, i saw Chicks of Common Moorhen n clicked 2-3 shots against the sun light.<br />
due to forget to change my camera setting,image not sharp but i liked it coz my 1st shot with Chicks.<br />
image sharpness decreased due to increased a shadow n exposure.<br />

When i saw a pic of  Ruddy Shelduck on october'14 in our birding grp n it was shared by one of my frnd, i had decided to take photo of this beautiful duck. so i went to shared location at kotha wetland Village at outskirt of Amalsad,Gujarat. but i have 55-250mm kit lens n took 8-10 photo so far away. didn't got chance to go near to them n returned.<br />
when i bought Tamron 150-600 in feb'15, i got chance to take good n close photo as they were in my near by area at river tapi. it was 8am, 10th March'15 n i was at Dabholi area of Tapi river.so memorable moments when i saw this beauties so closely.took so many photos with different settings.<br />
it was just beginning of photography with Tamron 150-600, photos mi8 be not sharp for for you.<br />

Last Sunday 26/07/15 i was at one resort with my in-laws for weekend 
family masti. all had enjoyed lot except me as i had to go for doctors' 
meeting in noon but did family photography at poll side as professional 
lol.<br />
while all family members gathered at in drawing room of our 
rented bungalow, i suddenly see Chinese Goose n White Goose. i had 
started taking photos with 50mm 1.8 as they are very friendly due to 
farm/pet animal so ran towards my car for taking my bazooka. after 
changing it rain started but got chance to take 3-4 close up even in 
rain. i was afraid that..if rain water enter in my lens/camera 
then....but everything is OK now.<br />

When i see Knob-billed Duck i was excited coz it was my 1st sighting n took 2-3 shots from car. Thanks Vijayendra bhai and Sartaj bhai for identifying the duck from running car. most time i missed good shots so taken very caution n tried to take close shot but he noticed and fly away but m happy with this image.didn't get chance to take side pose.<br />

decided to go other place Nani Kakrad, where Sarus Crane had seen. we 
were unable to go inside as road was muddy due to rain and we went other

On 28th March i was at Tapi Riverside,i had seen this duck 1st time and tried to capture clear photo but didn't succeed so went on 29th march but its my bad luck that these duck didn't seen there. so again go today (30th march) and they are seen in so many numbers,took many photos as male Garganey, female Garganey.<br />

When you reach at one of your photography place and see a Bird or a animal not so far from you,the smiling expression come on your face and you been hurry to catch the close and sharp shot of that bird/animal.<br />
at my nearby area most of wetlands are dried by local public so most of winter visitor birds fly away to other place so i am avoiding to bird photography but today decided to photography for my personal improvement and went at ISCON temple at Jahangirpura,Surat and i have been happy as mentioned above.2 Indian Spot-billed Duck swimming slowly slowly...enjoying their swimming with finding food and captured those moments very carefully.<br />
