<p>     <span style="font-size: large;">D</span>uring Searching of bitterns in July 2020 with my friend Dharmesh Kantahriya, we had heard call of <span color="rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.87)" face="Roboto, Noto, sans-serif" style="background-color: white; font-size: 15px; white-space: pre-wrap;">Rain Quail and vigorously we searched for it but cudn't sighted but finally Dharmesh found the beauty in June 2021 and he called me.i was so excited to see this beauty in my area but due to covid duty cudnt managed to go. </span></p><p><span style="background-color: white;"><span color="rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.870588235294118)" face="Roboto, Noto, sans-serif"><span style="font-size: 15px; white-space: pre-wrap;">finally i got a leave and called DK to go birding and next day 7am we were there. this beauty was giving call continuously but still we failed to see. around 8am we saw 4 </span></span></span><span color="rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.87)" face="Roboto, Noto, sans-serif" style="background-color: white; font-size: 15px; white-space: pre-wrap;">Rain Quail, taken photos and videos from distance. ended our session due to harsh light. again we go next day morning and clicked good photos and videos. sharing with you, hope you like my work.</span></p><p><span color="rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.87)" face="Roboto, Noto, sans-serif" style="background-color: white; font-size: 15px; white-space: pre-wrap;"><br /></span></p><p><span color="rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.87)" face="Roboto, Noto, sans-serif" style="background-color: white; font-size: 15px; white-space: pre-wrap;"><br /></span></p><p><span color="rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.87)" face="Roboto, Noto, sans-serif" style="background-color: white; font-size: 15px; white-space: pre-wrap;">

Kutch have so many variety of habitats.Like Migratory Birds,winter birds,shore birds etc.i'm visiting Kutch since 2016 for twice a year or thrice a year with my birding buddies.<br />
i was there in end of December'17 for Hypocolius and other species.in the morning we get ready around at 6am and went in grassland for our target species,reached before sunrise but saw foggy sunrise.after fading away of fog, we moved inside  and luckily got target species.<br />
Then time to search for Common Quail and very carefully i was driving car in grassland to see movement of this rarity coz it usually hide in grass,luckily we spotted them. but this beauty are very active and hide easily by running inside the grass.i was very lucky to frame pair.<br />

Sometimes jackpots comes to you n it needs lots luck.same thing happens with me on 02/03/17 , when i was at Chikhali for click of Ruddy-breasted Crake & Baillon's Crake.story was posted in <a href="http://www.yugworld.net/2017/03/baillons-crake.html#.WLrK_H8-gqI">Baillon's Crake</a> <br />
While i was Parking my cheetah, Proff Anilbhai came n talked little then picked our camera n thought to go at Proff Pravinbhai was hiding him self in bush but he waved his hand,not to come now so we moved at different place.<br />
But didnt find anything so return back at Proff Pravinbhai was hiding him self in bush and very carefully adjusted ourselves in bushes with mud.i was setting my camera on tripod n within 30sec,one bird came n sit just 15ft away from us.it was a Barred Buttonquail.very quickly focus n click...click...click. and fly away.<br />

Jungle Bush Quail

As Story posted at <a href="http://www.yugworld.net/2016/05/chestnut-bellied-sandgrouse-close-up.html">Chestnut-bellied Sandgrouse Close up (Male)</a> we reached at Fort Mahadev for our next day session with our friend Nirav Pomal,we were searching Black Francolin since we reached there but we cudnt find.Even we cant seen Grey Francolin so we lil disappointed and stopped the car at one point n came out to relax.<br />
Pankaj came with bino and searching thru bino n sudden some birds fly away,they were Chestnut-bellied Sandgrouse, we missed shot.after 1-2 min we decided to go further inside so i went towards my seat n sudden i saw a movement far away from us.its in bushes so we cudnt seen even thru camera n bino.i asked Nirav to we shud go there n very carefully Nirav drive his car at that point n we all shocked coz it was Jungle Bush Quail.<br />
i was sitting at backseat n right side so unable to frame this beauty but later on we didn't came out from car so they walked towards us n went inside.<br />
