My birding friend Paragbhai got news that vultures were seen so i went on bike coz i have to go inside the no road area where farms were. i felt very cold  on 24/12/15 even around at 8.30am.after reaching given location,i didn't seen vulture so called the local person but didn't pick my phone.<br />
little disappointed but went near by 15-20km and searched for vultures.after zero result,decided to go my favorite place tena.even didn't find any new birds.while i was driving,seen Common Kingfisher was sitting close to road. i don't know why Common Kingfisher ignored me coz i was passed from hardly 3-4ft away n parked my bike in very hurry.<br />
Take shots from distance n then lying down myself on ground took 3-4 shots.then crawl towards this beauty.i reached at one point where my Tamron 150-600 was unable to focus so get back myself. i took 20+photos n 4videos.then i again crawl back without disturbing and on the engine of bike still this beauty was enjoying there,myself went away. <br />

When you are thinking for best n got better than best,its a wow moments.whenever i get time, try go at my favorite place for birding.<br />
it was around 4pm n bright sunny day with intermittent clouds,i was searching for new winter birds at wetland.while i was finding Red-necked Phalarope, seen a Common Kingfisher on broken n dried tree branch, 30-40ft away from me.as i was wanna shoot video of it half sit n walked towards this beauty.<br />
this shot was taken 10ft away n there is no Photoshop in background,its natural.<br />

i always want to catch a photo of flying kingfisher as common kingfisher n pied kingfisher fly above the water and sudden dive in water to catch a fish.<br />
i was at my home town and went a lake where fishing contract was given,it was not a big lake and thought for good birding site but my strange i was shocked after going there coz seen many birds there in morning.<br />
As i was looking for birds, sudden seen a Common Kingfisher flying to sight for fish to catch.sudden moved n focus n clicked in hurry but all 3-5 shots were blurred.so very carefully focused as that time i have Canon 600D.clicked in continuous mode n luckily all 5-6 shots, Common Kingfisher were in frame.it was far away but looks pretty with natural background.<br />

while i was returning to home after taking photos of  Black-headed ibis,Common Greenshank , Eurasian Curlew etc birds,i was so happy for good shots and looking towards sea.sudden a tiny bird flying far away from me,at first avoid to frame as i was exhausted n wanna go home but for my improvement i took photos as in continuous shots and after it see the image after zooming in my camera's lcd.at that time i was so excited coz it was common kingfisher. <br />
sudden try to find again coz out of 6-7 images most image are out of focus.common kingfisher is approx 15-17cm and i was far away so unable to find but i saw this beauty sitting on stone at sea and fired.but its not a sharp enough.tried to go closure but i was caught n fly away.<br />

i was searching Common Kingfisher for Silhouette Photography since long time and my waiting was over after 8month of my Photography life.<br />
it was aprx 5.45pm of  November 2014, on road of Dandi(Surat) i found the common kingfisher sitting on a electric wire.i took 1st shot with auto focus in Aperture Value mode but my setting was wrong and pic gone wrong...tried in Manual mode but still lil effect came so think to icrease f-stop number and good pic come but it was darkening and finally increasing iso the best snap taken.<br />
it was very difficult to capture kingfisher in middle of sun as sun was going down and there was a wild babul tree but i did lil in for best one.<br />
