i had shared a story of  <a href="https://www.yugworld.net/2018/12/golden-eagle.html" target="_blank">Golden Eagle</a> which was sighted by Myank Judal and his friend at Outskirt of Palanpur in the 1st week of December 2018.<br />
After sighting of Golden Eagle , i had clicked side pose, back pose and front pose recorded video by handheld but its too shaky so asked Dharmesh Patel to give his monopod and he gave me.captured its preening behavior in 2-3 videos and merged, sharing with you a YouTube upload.<br />

Golden Eagle normally sighted in high altitude areas but in 1st week of December'18 it is sighted in Palanpur outskirt, Gujarat and i got news after 3rd day but no space of leave to go there and click this beauty came in Gujarat accidentally or what i don't know.<br />
i thought i have to manage during my night n day off in my duty schedule ...finally talked with my birding buddies for Golden Eagle and all were ready to join me on 24th and 25th December 2018.<br />
i came from hectic night duty in my hospital though i be fresh just in 1.30hour at my home and started driving to pick my friend Viren Desai.it was Sunday, though faced traffic jam ..finally i pick Viren at 9.30am and we were on the way towards Karjan, where my other friends were went yesterday for birding.<br />
Apart from 6 lane highway,some cross road need flyover n work was on so got stuck for 30+min in traffic and delayed for 1hour and finally reached around at 11.45am and picked Pragnesh Patel, Dharmesh Patel and Priyank Patel.now our target was to reach Nal Sarovar around at 3pm to click Saker Falcon and Sociable Lapwing but i set limitation of not over-speed during driving though we reached at 3.30pm.<br />
went for both species and left Nal sarovar arond at 6.30pm to reach Palanpur before 10pm and reached timely. i was in contact of my best birding buddy n best friend Pankaj Maheria and we discussed for when to go and what to see there etc.<br />
Around 5.30am we all wake up and get ready for Lifer.i was hoping of temperature around 8-10 degree Celsius coz Palanpur is just 50+km away from Mount Abu and there was minus 1.5 degree Celsius but luckily saw 12 degree Celsius in the morning.we set location in mobile and towards our destination,after drive of 30min we lost our destination and called Pankaj around at 6.50am and he told to go such location but how to go there coz we didn't see any person and ask for and i was drivng on n on....finally Viren told...DOCTOR STOP and he saw the raod coz Viren was there for Golden Eagle 2days before.<br />
Finally we reached our destination at 7.05am and parked it. i told to see my car's display,it was showing 6 degree Celsius and we felt it mean when we were going to half press shutter button to focus,our finger was like freeze.(we all were came from where minimum temperature goes down upto 12 degree Celsius)<br />
Even though we were looking each vulture and bird to identify our lifer but we failed till 10.30am so i asked Dharmeshbhai to call on one number coz his mobile has network and that number was of guide which was given by our other friend Shailesh Patel.<br />
His name is Mavjibahi,he asked for guide fee and we were agree so he came and we walked here ther for 30 min but we didn't find the eagle.while we were returning at our point where we started searching the eagle,he spotted the eagle.i was just behind him so i clicked one shot for record shot to id it and in between Viren clicked it.after confirmation i raised hand to come fast but before they come,it fly away but didn't see due to tree.<br />
we went that place but failed to locate it even though it was a small area.now we were exhausted n sit on a rock and Mavji asked to come one person with him so viren went with him. after 10min we 3 went at where i clicked this beauty and priyank was there to find it.after 1omin we all meet with small faces.i asked to Mavji that now we were here and if you find then show us, Pragnesh and i went toward my chittah as i was thirsty, Pragnesh told me that if you wanna return then i was ready as i have shot and we have to go Nal Sarovar for 2 more lifers but i told that yes i have record shot but you other person dont so i will not go till you people don't have photos of Golden Eagle.<br />
Around 11.30am Pragnesh told me.."Andy lets we go as we go in past for lifer and searched", so we two went inside the jungle.Pragnesh pick a stick for safety person from Feral dogs. i told him to pick a large one for me coz he has smaller so i pick it and i was walking ahead of his.Pragnesh raised his stick against one Dog as it was starring us and sudden big bird fly just 15ft away from us,we felt big back thrush but didn't see it and thought for Vulture so moved ahead.i asked pragnesh that someone called me like "doctor...doctor..." but we didn't hear it due to alarming call of crow,ibis etc bird and Viren again shouted " doctor...doctor.." we look towards each other smiled and run towards call and it was unforgettable moment when we saw it perching on a clear top of tree.<br />
we clicked more than 100 photos from all angle,mobbed by crow and videos.sharing this beautiful shot.<br />

Blackbuck National Park,Velavadar is a large grassland in gujarat where Harrier  do
rousting.it is the heaven for Harrier 
lovers.Except Pied Harrier,all Harriers came there between August to 
March for wintering.They roost on ground and hunts 
locusts,snakes,lizard,small rodents and birds which help as biological 
pest control to farm crops,maintains the Eco-system of grassland.mostly i go during 2nd week of October and i was there with my 
friends on 20/10/16.<br />
The long story line posted in <a href="http://www.yugworld.net/2016/10/indian-grey-wolf.html#.WmV7LDeZGM8">Indian Grey Wolf</a> and we reached there in midnight of 20/10/16.we entered park with guide Sikandar,we had clicked many harriers and other birds till morning safari end.we went for lunch and then took a rest at office then again entered in park for evening safari.i was waiting for a shot of harrier sitting on a fence and got after 3.30pm.<br />

On 27/11/17 my best friend Viren came to Surat for birding and we went with Prof.P C Patel at a place where Amur Falcon sighted by him.we were there till 10am and sighted Common Kestrel,Indian Roller,Pallid Harrier,Black Kite etc bird and we left from there towards my favorite birding spot.<br />
Before we reached there,i told Viru go another place where Amur Falcon cud be sighted so Viru told to go and sighted Short-toed Snake Eagle,Greater Spotted Eagle etc.its 10.45am and light going harsh n harsh so thought to return.but i told him,why not we go till road end and i driven till dead end.<br />
Before we reach end dead end,told to return so turn my cheetah.while i press my leg on accelerator,viru told ...stop stop.something is on my right side.so turn my cheetah towards it.it gave lots time to frame and got succeed with totally blurred background.<br />

it was 12/05/17 and i came from night shift and around 12pm i called my friend Hiren Joshi.i had told him some issue happened in Vansda Natinal Park in last week so we have to talk with RFO sir.Hiru replied me," doc currently where are you?", i told him, just came to Bilimora.then he asked me, he is free and he is at Anaval which is 20-30km away from Bilimora so we planned to go in noon to meet RFO Vansda National Park.<br />
so i packed my camera,water then started drive at 2.30pn and reached Anaval at 3pm. Before we reach Vansda National Park, we stopped at one hotel coz we have to finalized that hotel for our event and discussed there till 4pm but still some issues remeain pending so i told,we should talk in evening after returning from Vansda National Park.<br />
i had called RFO of Vansda National Park to meet and he give permission to meet in evening so we went at Vansda National Park but RFO sir was still in meeting Ahva.now what to do....so we both decided to enter in for birding,we paid fee and looking here n there for birds but nothing found till 1st watch tower.<br />
while we reach 1st watch tower,Hiru show a Antelope n i saw a pair of junglefowl now we both confused...what to frame.i had decided to focus Antelope and Hiru decided to focus junglefowl but we both failed to frame it.Then we moved ahead in my cheetah and sudden we both saw some big bird close to road. i drive at a speed of 5-10km/h and we both tried to focus but failed then i reverse the car then focus n much excited coz it's a Crested Hawk Eagle.<br />
Hiren asked to drive little ahead of it and opened sunroof,Hiren was looking from sunroof to set a angle and at a point he told to stop and we both clicked 5-10shots.then he fly just above us and went other side of road.same thing we did and clicked so many photos of it n a video.<br />

Me and my close friends went so many places in Gujarat and don't know why many people are telling indirectly that, we are running for bird count.yes we run behind every new species,its not for us but its for Gujarat coz in past there were on paper record but no one have photos<span data-offset-key="5repl-0-0"><span data-text="true"> of all species, our moto is to make large photographic bird database for birds sighted only in Gujarat and nearby Union Territory in Gujarat.</span></span><br />
i had seen Brown Fish Owl in our website <a href="http://www.birdsofgujarat.co.in/">http://www.birdsofgujarat.co.in/</a> , uploaded by Dr.Gaurang Bagda, who is a Physician and tried to contact him on Facebook but his friend list was 5k so i cant send fb request.(even i too reached at this 5k fb friend list but realize that many had sent fb request to obtain "likes" so now removing them and reache at 2.2k...lol)<br />
we had made a trip to Sasan Gir wildlife sanctuary for birds and lion.one day i messaged in my group for wish list birds and one of my friend Abhay wrote for "Brown Fish Owl".so i replied, i will try for you.<br />
Again i tried to sent FB Request to Dr.Gaurang and luckily it sent....then he accepted it.while i got message of it,i sent a long message for "Brown Fish Owl" as he know me coz me and Pankaj had uploaded many birds of his as he is much busy person.so he replied that he will try to fulfill our wish list.i called Pankaj and told that talk with Dr.Gaurang regarding Brown Fish Owl as he told.<br />
Pankaj talked with Dr.Gaurang and asked to come aprx at 3pm so we can find this beauty.now we have to plan for reach timely at Junagadh around at 3pm.so made a plan to drive from Surat around at 5am and reach at ahmedabad at 10am then we reach junagadh at 3pm,and everyone was ready.<br />
On 3/5/17 i came from night shift and think for good sleep on 4/5/17 but dont know what happened,didnt took a sleep of 1minut so at 1am,i wrote a message in our whatsapp group for sasan trip...come as early... Abhay was also awake so told to go at Viren's home to start journey early as they had decided to drive at 3.30am.Abhay went at Viru's Home and Viru was also waiting of Abhay and Hiren.Viru called Hiren and surprisingly, Hiren was also awake we all were like owl,might be due to excitement of our trip.<br />
They went to DK(Dharmesh kadiwal)'s home to pick him and 4.30am at my home.we were on the way to Ahmedabad to pick Pankaj.we reached at 9.45 am and Pankaj came at Ringroad of ahmedbad,now e were on the way to Junagadh.we had took our lunch at limdi and started our journey again.due to traffic we reach junagadh at 3.30am.Gaurangbhai wa waiting for us at entrance of sanctuary since 3pm and we reached at 4pm,we all met him face to face 1st time then we were on the way to hill for "Brown Fish Owl".<br />
As Gaurangbhai knew the place,we parked the car after drive of 20min and now we have to walk aprx 1+km in between small to large stones with careful walk.temperature was about 42+c and humidity was high so everyone were soaked in perspiration was it was for wish list so we all ignored(except Pankaj and Gaurangbhai have clicks)<br />
After walking of 20+min Gaurangbhai told us to walk very carefully as we were in the area of "Brown Fish Owl" but our bad luck,it was not there so we walk ahead for 200+mtr and it fly away.now we had divided in group of 3 and walk for 300+mtr but we unable to locate this beauty.Abhay was with me and we see on each other with sad face coz we have to return.Gaurangbhai didnt lose hope for sighting and luckily he sighted with Pankaj,he waved his hand to walk fast and we had clicked this beauty for 10minutes.i saw towards Abahy and he was smiling coz it was his desired wish list,he had clicked only 5+ shot coz he just wanna see live and enjoyed it live.<br />

i was very eager to test my new Canon EOS 7D Mark 2 which i bought on 
5th Oct'15 but didn't tried in birding till 12/10/15 due to laziness. <br />
i was on long drive with my wife after dropping my prince to his school for exam at 12pm,we were exact opposite to <span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-weight: normal;">Reliance Industries Limited</span></span>,gate
 no 2(didn't remember) to Bhatlai village,near Hazira, Surat 
outskirt.after 1km of drive,seen a raptor was sitting on one cement 
pole,just close to road.it was a Eurasian Marsh Harrier.took 5-10 photo 
in single click due to osm speed of my machine-gun.when i see photos in 
lcd screen of camera,Photos were so bright n when i saw iso,i was shocked coz its1600 n full bright sunny day.Then i changed iso to 200 n
 when try to frame it again but before i click it, fly 
away.<br />

Winter starts in November and many birds visits my near by area.one of my friend had clicked Jungle Prinia and i didn't clicked so decided went that area.<br />
on 19th November'16 get ready and reached that area around at 7am.i was searching in bushes but didn't find till 7.50am so decided to went back towards my cheetah,sudden see a Raptor n focus on it and click, it was a Short-toed Snake Eagle.it sit on a tree far away from me.<br />
went back to my cheetah n start it to go another place.after driving of 500+mtr,for a curiosity i saw on that tree n still it was on that tree.sudden driven my cheetah beside the road n parked there.very carefully started walk with half bend myself.i was looking it continuously,if it notice me then stopped myself n fridge there for a moment.i think i had walked 150+mtr like this with taking shots.<br />
i was still 100+mtr away from it n get noticed,moved its body and i was ready to take take off shots n burst....<br />

Chilling cold around at 4am on 25th Dec'15 and wake-up for trip to 
Shoolpaneshvar. After everything ready i was driving my car with my 
family n reached Netrang around at 7.30am where my Friends 
Hirenbhai,Virenbhai n Himanshu were waiting for us as i was late due to 
heavy traffic as i was on the rout Surat-Hansot-Ankleshwar-Netrang and 
they came from Bardoli-Mandvi-Netrang.<br />
My close friend Dr.Pankaj 
also on same trip but he was not coming to Shoolpaneshvar as he went in 
past so he start his journey when we left Netrang.he told me to go at 
Zarwani Waterfall for birding so we had decided to go this place.<br />
while
 we were on way to Rajpipla, dont know the location but exact at one of 
up hill i stopped the car as i saw a purple color sunbird on a tree near
 by road n one big bird far away to it.so we all went to frame it n 
climb at little hill.it was White-eyed Buzzard.within 1-2min it fly away
 n Hirenbhai sudden smell a dead animal,so he asked any wild animal is 
coming/going inside the jungle.He sighted the Jackal.out of we 4 
Photographers,only Virenbhai was lucky to frame it clearly.<br />
Then 
we started trip to reach there as early as possible and after driving of
 30min,when i saw in my car's rear view mirror,there was no innova 
car.so thought i was on a speed of 110km/h, may be i am so faster, so 
parked my car at side of road n waited....5min passed but they didn't 
came. finally i called Hirenbhai but there was network problem so unable
 to talk, decide to go back to see what happens. after drive of 
2-3km,they were clicking Greater Couccal as it was just 5ft away from 
there.<br />
Finally we reached at a Forest check point where we paid 
our car entry fee of 400 per car.Again photo shoot started,now it was 
with Rufous Treepie.<br />
After 10min of Photoshoot we moved ahead for 
our destination.before this waterfall, i saw a minivet and stopped car 
so we again started photoshoot.while we were busy in clicking small 
minivet,Hirenbhai sighted White-bellied Drongo n we moved to it.when i 
was clicking drongo,i was just looking here n there n seen black color 
bird n thought for Tit so moved towards this bird,clicked 2 shots n fly 
away.i was looking where it goes n sudden sighted woodpecker. literally i
 run to click as it was very small in size from far away n clicked for 
record shot.when i had seen in camera's lcd, i was very happy as it was 
pygmi woodpecker.then i called my friends to click but very slowly. 
there we enjoyed clicking as clicked 5+ bird species.<br />
Then we went to see waterfall by trekking of 1-2km passing thru low level water of river.we had enjoyed there for 30-40min and returned.<br />
our target was to go at Sagayi waterfall and it was around 80km but our guide told us for another road which was 15-20km n we were on this way.after drive of 5km on mountains like some roads were 45degree ups and then sudden 45 degree down.we were hungry n we stopped at one place for our lunch n did.<br />
after getting fresh we were on the way again.just drive of 1km,i saw a Black-winged Kite was hovering n not much above.i had clicked in past but my friend had didn't clicked it so stopped my car n asked them to click.even i had click coz looking much beautiful.<br />

Planned trip for lens comparison with my friend Viren Desai on 9/10/16,so we went at my favorite birding place at 10am.<br />after taking some shots of pied bushchat,stonechat we were roaming at that place and sudden seen an Eurasian Marsh Harrier (Male) was coming towards us at low level sudden stop my car and came out for click.it gives hardly 5-10sec n luckily i got this shot.not a clear shot.<br />

i am very eager to test my new Canon EOS 7D Mark 2 which i bought on 5th
 0ct'15.so asked my wife to go on long drive and we went towards hazira,surat outskirt.<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
it was around at 12pm,we were exact opposite to Reliance Industries Limited ,gate
 no 2(didn't remember exactly) to Bhatlai village,near Hazira.after 1km of drive,seen a raptor was sitting on one cement 
pole,just close to road.it was a Eurasian Marsh Harrier.took 5-10 photo 
in single click in burst mode due to osm speed of my machine-gun.when i saw photo in 
lcd of camera,all were so bright n when i seen iso,it was 1600.i changed to 200 n
 when try to frame it again but i missed coz it started flying n went 
away. but thanks to Photoshop,recover mostly.</div>

i had set a trip to Black-buck National Park,Velavdar on 17/10/15 with family.before i reach there,had a plan to go pariyej and then go Ahmadabad n stay at one of hotel.<br />
So on 16th early morning started driving to reach pariyej n meet my friend Dr.Bhavesh Mengar,did some good photography then in noon started journey towards Ahmadabad. after entering Ahmadabad seen 5-6 Black Kite were flying close to ground near the small tree and coming back again n again.so stopped my car at road side and went to click close shot as didn't click and got succeed.<br />
its a 100% cropped and over exposed photo but happy to recover details.<br />

Thought to click more then 100 birds at Andaman during my family trip but it was very difficult to spot even normal birds there.<br />
on 20th January'16 we have to go at Baratang Cave so get ready around at 5am and went thru our tata winger till one of jetty after 3hours of drive then we went thru government ferry to reach other side of jetty,we reached after 30min.Then we had pick a powerboat to reach Baratang Cave,we reached there after 45 to 60min.<br />
Boatman told us that one guide will with you till cave and give info.from powerboat to cave,i think 2-3km of way and we have to walk.its much humid weather even after wind my body was sweating.didn't remember exact location but 500meter before the cave i was looking on trees n luckily sighted a bird like buzzard.tree were very tall but this raptors was sitting on a half way of tree coz it was searching small household chicks of hen/duck as there was5-6 huts and  family were staying there for earning from travelers by selling lime water,juice etc.<br />
clicked 4-5 shots coz i was far behind from my family.when i shared this pic with my friends,one of my friend Dhairya told that its your jackpot coz it was an Andaman Serpent Eagle.<br />

After many plans finally i was on the trip to shoolpaneshwar with Dr.Pragnesh,Dr.Hiteshbhai and Vijayendrabhai.storyline posted at <a href="http://www.yugworld.net/2016/03/kid-tribe-of-shoolpaneshwar.html#.V5xDlEc9IqI">Kid Tribe of Shoolpaneshwar</a>. <br />
This area is  large with mountains so there is no specific location for sighting of birds.we were exploring as Dr.Hiteshbhai knows the place but not confirm for sighting of any birds.we had clicked Shikra,white-eyed buzzard juvenile,petronia etc bird and then around 10am we were going slowly and sudden Pragnesh seen a owlet n he asked me stop the car.i was driving and its down-hill so unable to break quickly even though managed to reverse the car very carefully coz car was diesel and engine sound may disturb the owlet.from the car we all confirmed that it was a Jungle owlet.we all came out of car but Jungle owlet was little careless or else it didn't fly away.took some awesome shots.<br />

A long story posted <a href="http://www.yugworld.net/2016/02/saker-falcon-flying-shot.html">Saker Falcon Flying Shot</a> ,we were in the Indian Wild Ass Sanctuary around at 3.30pm on 06/02/16.our guide 
Becharbhai have good experience of more than 6yrs in this field so he 
knew the locations.<br />
we had clicked <a href="http://www.yugworld.net/2016/06/short-eared-owl.html#.V4kaCEc9IqI">Short-eared Owl</a>, and moved ahead in the jungle of desert.clicked Chestnut-bellied Sandgrouse male and female.it was a great experience when we clicked them.then again moved ahead and around 6pm we saw Eurasian Marsh Harrier (Female).we followed this beauty for good shot but it fly away and didn't gave chance for good shot.our guide told us for last try and finally got this shot.<br />

As i was with my bazooka,we were just reach near lake n one raptor was flying toward us.i was ready to focus but due to tree failed to focus.most of shots were out of focus n lost the close n good shot.i was still waiting for it n luckily it came again n clicked but got only one shot.<br />

i was interested to click Short-toed Snake Eagle as one my friend had clicked in our area so i told him for location n he shared on phone so i went on 31/12/15 around at 8am on bike as unable to reach thru car due narrow road.<br />
Reached around at 8.30am but didn't seen the Short-toed Snake Eagle on a cut coconut tree where this beauty regularly sit.waited for 30-40min but it didn't come so thought to go ahead for another birds.enjoyed clicking Indian Roller,Black Drongo,Stonechat,etc n return again that place after 1hour but bad luck continued n decided to go back home.<br />
while i was driving bike,i was looking both side of road n after drive of 1km stopped the bike as i had seen different looking bird far away from road,focused in camera but unable to identify bird coz it was more then 800mtr away.parked the bike n started walking towards it very carefully n also clicking for record shots.<br />
at one point i reached and clicked,identified as Black-eared Kite so lil disappointed as its commoner n thought to return but its looks different mood with elevated feathers like in excited phase.so very carefully again approached for close shot n luckily it didn't fly away even i am noticed and here is result.<br />

After taking shots of Saker Falcon,we moved ahead for Peregrine Falcon where it regularly sit.it was a 20+min of drive.Peregrine Falcon was siting on a small half dried tree at a bank of river Banas,where Banas river end in Little Rann of Kutch.<br />
we stopped little away from it as we wanted to took record shot n after taking it,our guide Becharbhai got reverse of our safari n tried to park it from where we took close shots.i think it is 25ft away from it n we all take good shots n i record 3 video of this beauty.<br />

After much awaiting finally i was at LRK aka Little Rann of Kutch on 6th of Feb'16 with Dr.Pragnesh n Viren Desai,i was much late for birding as winter birds specially raptors might went even though i was there for Peregrine Falcon.its a wild ass sanctuary.<br />
Around 3pm we reached at Bhavna resort & Farm after morning session at Nal Sarovar. our guide Becharbhai was ready n we got refreshed n went for birding for evening session,will share those pics later.we had finished our evening session at 7pm n returned at our hotel.took dinner n went for sleep early after recharge of battery of our camera coz we were very tired n have to wake up early.<br />
Get ready around at 5.30am n our guide Becharbhai came n told for took tea.aprox 6am we were on our exclusive safari,it was 12-15 degree cold, i forget to take my jacket n feel freezing sensation while we were on jeep coz our location was 40+km away n we were on speed of 50+.<br />
After drive of 1hr+ Becharbhai stopped at one point n sighted Montague's Harrier,we took shots after 5min again we were on search of raptors.after 30min of drive Becharbhai again stopped n looking in Binocular at one point where he sighted Greater spotted eagle n Imperil Egale.we went there n took record shot.while we approach for closer they fly away. i asked to go towards imperial eagle n game was on....we took shot n try to approach for closure,it fly away.this game continued for 40+min then we stopped chasing imperial eagle n went inside.<br />
while we were going towards perching site of Peregrine Falcon after drive of 10-15min,Virenbhai seen one bird flying n we went towards there,stopped far away n took record shot.Becharbhai came with indian birds n told to show for id n we all got shocked n happy coz its a Saker Falcon.its 2nd visit of Saker Falcon in LRK(as Becharbhai told),at 1st visit no one took photo n 2nd time we sighted.Becharbhai told that we try to get closure but this bird cant give good shot so we tried to approach towards this beauty.Mostly we stop n it fly away.we tried for 6-7times in 1+hr n didin't got good close shot but i got good flying shot from front n side.<br />
