i love to frame waterfall.During our family trip of Sri Lanka in May'18,seen many waterfall but mostly from running our bus and main problem was bus was AC and window was unable to slide so its a bad planning of trip.even though tried to frame scenery in my S9.<br />
During traveling to Nuwara Eliya,we were passing thru mountains and also there was rain.road was not wider and rule of not stopping vehicles without genuine reason we didn't stopped,so asked our guide to slow down vehicle to enjoy beauty.<br />
<span data-offset-key="9ceu5-0-0"><span data-text="true">Mostly i had captured video during whole trip but at one place tried to take photo of water fall and due to rain drops on Glass of Window,mobile didn't focus waterfall but got extra ordinary frame.</span></span><br />

why i wrote topic name <b>Nandu's Sanctuary </b>? because when i reach there and talked with owner Nandu Tambe for other birds,he told that he had sighted more then 215 species in his near by area,These birds are ODKF, Malabar Pied Hornbill, Great Hornbill, Crested Hawk Eagle, Brown Wood Owl,Brown Hawk Owl etc so i told him to make a place on Google Map and then upload those images in this place so more people know about it.he told that,how it made coz once he made it but removed and dont know the reason.so i Pinned this area in google map and given name as <b>Nandu's Sanctuary </b>coz this is amazing place<b> </b>and you have to visit it,if you had not visited.This area is Located in Maharstra,22km away from Chiplun,located in Shirwali Village.owns 40+acre of land and converted in forest. <br />

What i say about Nandu Tambe coz he is just 30 yrs old.His original Name is Nishikant  Tambe.he is B.Com Graduate and left his job for his forest.he not only work for ODKF but works for conservation of nature.he told me,"what we will carry with us,when we die.this mother earth is not only for us.if we care for it all cycle shud run smoothly.he is working since 2006(not sure!!!)"<br />

Since Long time,i has a dram to frame Lion on a Railway track and thought to fulfill this wish During my Sasan Trip in May 2017.Mostly it depends on luck coz lion mostly not cross its territory or if they try to do,their tracker not to do them.<br />
we Started our Morning safari at its time and searching birds as well as leopard and lion.it was lil foggy morning and we sighted Spotted owlet,Tickell's blue Flycatcher,Yellow-crowned Woodpecker.Then we moved inside and clicked Male Spotted Deer and later Sambar Deer. while we moved further inside on our root,we sighted groups of Sub Adult Lion and Liones,clicked some shots and moved towards railway line for my desire shot.Before we reach ther,i sighted Jungle Nightjar and clicked good shots.<br />
After giving 2min,we rushed at railway crossing and dont know what our sixth sense worked but one of gypsy covered whole road and we missed my dream shot.so we forced our gypsy driver to drive and that narrow minded driver,driven his gypsy lil aside.while we reach over track,Lion crossed and walking beside the track.i missed shot.most worst thing was in that gypsy,no one had camera...<br />

Happy World Environment Day is celebrated on every 5th June with yearly new Theme since 1974. Due to dirty politics in India, these all days' celebrations are useless till mass and forceful involvement and implementation not happen.<br />
Government spends lots money to makes advertisement for tree plantation and they cut large amount of old trees for sake of development.where will it goes.<br />
everyone know the importance of tree,no one mean.for example 10yrs before there were so many trees on each side of road but due to over population,there must be wider road and also require new houses so government cut the trees.its ok but make road with dividers and plants new tree which grows in large size after 4-5years but government beautify roads and cut for good shapes and plants flowers.so over all temperature raised due to break in ozone layer.<br />
There is a cycle and followed by each year by environment and this cycle main element are humans,birds,animals,insects,trees,water and air but humans played major role and imbalance comes in other elements.<br />

The Lighthouse island

After partially wet during Madu River Safari due to rain,we returned to our Hotel Earl's Reef,Beruwala.we get fresh and in our room and enjoyed delicious dinner.i sleep early due to i have to Sinharaja Rain Forest in mid night(3.30am).<br />
Got many new and endemic species from Sinharaja till noon,as i had decided to do whole day birding but much exhausted and there been 100% chances of rain in afternoon so returned from there to our hotel and reached around at 4pm.get fresh and decided to go at beach side withought DSLR but took it and enjoying beautiful scenery of evening from wooden bench.The orange-red-yellow colors are making painting over sky and purple colors started to appear.<br />
i saw a small boat going towards one small island where lighthouse was there and my mind thought for a frame of lighthouse.set dslr on bench and started experimenting and after 2 shot got desired shot. it was around 6.30pm<br />

it was 27th November of 2015.Starting of winter.i was on vacation at my birth place and each day we went on beach,which is just 2km away from our farm house.i went from there for birding till 5.30pm.<br />
i was watching Sunset and thought to capture sunset so mount my camera on tripod and waiting for a moment when sun touches to water.clicked 5-7photos and transferred to my desktop when i return Surat.even i forgot these pics.<br />
while i was exploring old folders,find this unusual type of phenomenon, might be i'm wrong but processed in Photoshop and sharing with all to know the reason.<br />

Natural Bridge

 i was on family tour with my co-doctors n their family during January'16 for 9days of Andaman trip and on 22nd Jan'16,we reached Neil island.our guide told us to get ready for walk for more than 1.5km and we all ready to see Natural Bridge.<br />
Natural Bridge is situated in Neil island,Andaman and to see it you have to walk more than 1km after parking your vehicle.thw whole road is much difficult for walking coz of you have walk in between plain roack and corals even sometimes thru mud filled water.but after watching this beauty,you been astonished by rock formation.it is also known as Howrah bridge.<br />
before you go there,  check the tide status and must don't go during high tide.<br />

Cold of around 10 degree C of early morning and we wake 
up around at 5am coz we have to drive 100+km after knocking of our room 
by our guide.after getting fresh, we taken tea and around 5.30am we were
 on the way to for GIB.<br />
All set for GIB n started our journey but 
we lost in the grk coz much darkness and road is all side.we roam here n
 there for 15+min lol.even gps was not working.finally we came on road 
around at 5.50am.<br />
i was driving at a speed of 40kmph coz there are
 so many nightjar and they mostly came on road.we have to reach before 
sunrise but we were late.even we went on wrong way as missed the 
google's map voice. so we turn on the map on tomtom map (paid app) in 
iphone7 and we reached our destination around at 7.25am.<br />
our guide came there within 5minand we were on the way to GIB.after drive of 5-10min we reach at a little hill and mesmerized myself after watching sunrise and stop my cheetah to capture the beauty.and here is the frame.<br />

 but our friend cum guide Bharatbhai Kapdi told us to return, if sun 
was set and in the darkness we didn't find to return on main road coz 
there was no network n no gps.so i had driven my cheetah upto 110+kmph 
speed to return.</span></span></span><br />

 beautiful moment but due to sudden brake the dust was coming in the 
frame so we ran toward the tree,where dust didn't came in frame n clicked 3-4 snaps of 
it.forget to change some setting in hurry then i realize n did setting for sunset frame and it was 1st time so even setting was not perfect though i was happy to click it.</span></span></span><br />

During extreme low light taking shots of wild life is bit difficult.As usual i was with my "Wild Wonders" in the forest of Shoolpaneshwar Wildlife Sanctuary on 20/11/16.we had clicked so many photos of birds with 3 lifers and return at one place where we had clicked our lifers in morning.<br />
We were exploring that area and sighted one Raptor but it was at the other side of road so we crossed it and approach very carefully but it was 5.30pm and sun was about to set so failed to click.while i was returning towards our car,i had seen my friend Hiren Joshi was clicking against the sun and i was amazed so also did try with my bazooka.it was even difficult to focus coz i did it with handheld,manual focus with 600mm lens.<br />
But loved the result.<br />

It's a just try to frame sunset as in hurry coz we dont have time much time n location was not found for a good frame.<br />
Story was posted in <a href="http://www.yugworld.net/2016/12/spotted-sandgrouse.html#.WGeoJ1xsZzl">Spotted Sandgrouse</a> we were in Lodai village for Spotted Sandgrouse.We were 25-30km inside the main road and time was 5.35pm(as clicked last photo of Sandgrouse).we didnt got good shot of this rarity n wanna click but our friend cum guide Bharatbhai Kapdi told us to return coz if sun was set and in the darkness we didnt find to return on main road coz there was no network n no gps.so i had driven my cheetah upto 110+kmph speed to return.<br />

Cold morning of 2nd December'16 and i had skipped planned to go for photography in early morning. So i wake up around at 9am and after getting fresh,i was taking my breakfast with tea.Sudden my phone ring and call was of from my close friend Viren desai.He told me" Doctor, any place to go nearby Surat for 2 hours as i was in surat for some work and have to return at 12pm"....i replied..one only Tena wetland.he replied,get ready, i am coming to your home.<br />
He came withing 20min and we were at our Spot around at 10.30am. i was shocked coz some of small trees were cut,which were on a bank of wetland so difficult to hide ourselves.even we were late so sunlight was little harsh even though its winter.As my thought all ducks were far away so we had decided to walked on road beside wetland to find newer but nothing find.<br />
We had decided to return at 11.50am and were walking towards Viru's Elntra. sudden i saw a Marsh Harrier was on hunt and ducks were running-flying for life,i told Viru to seat nearby with ready focus.as i thought,the duck will come nearer to us and if harrier will come again for hunt,we will shot beautiful frame of running ducks.<br />
we got 3-4 chance from long distance and clicked 15+ shots.here is best shot from one of them.<br />

On 22nd November 2015 i was at Diu, while i was on Saurashtra trip with my family and in-law.we had did check in around at 12pm n took lunch then taken rest till 2.30pm.Then went to Nagoa beach for beach activity n have lots fun with kids.<br />
Sunset was near so all were enjoying in sea water n i was framing fun in my camera.while i was taking pics of all family member n now turn to focusing on my prince,the best moment captured of my son till now.<br />
This photo was taken at 5.32pm and everything was good but background have lots white like back-lit photo.so i had worked at least 5hour to correct background,it was 1st time for me to spent this much time for post processing of  one photo.i think  photo would look more beautiful if i darken the background lil more.<br />

Sometimes when you don't get birds while you are on birding,look around n do other than birding.i was on May vacation at my home town,Udvada.which is the Parsi's holy place.<br />
i was looking birds on beach of Udvada n get nothing other than Sand Plover.so after one hour of waiting for birds on beach,decided to return home as it was 11am.i had seen some crabs were running inside their burrow very quickly as i pass even lil away from them.<br />
i had ignored but at point the water is very clear n one Crab didn't run so very carefully approach to it and click only 2shot as i don't wanna click it.yesterday when i was looking my old pics n seen this amazing reflection so sharing it.<br />

Many friends from my birding group had visited Khajod, near 
Surat,Gujarat.we called them LRK of Surat coz many raptors sighted 
there. i had wish to go there but didn't get chance since long time.one 
day my friend Parag Kuberkar told me to go there n day finalised for 
26/2/16.<br />
Around 7am,wake up n got ready to go but it was so foggy 
morning n called Paragbhai for delay. Started driving around 8am in 
foggy morning at speed of 5-10km n reached at our meeting point around 
at 8.40am,Parked my car n went on moped of Paragbhai.he told me go for 
just see location as too much fog,so we went but didn't sighted any bird.<br />
Thought to Return n on the way to back with lots disappointment.after 500+mtr,i saw a bird sitting on a small tree n thought for raptor, so i asked to stop the moped n Paragbhai told its a dove.i said yes but might be a different so i walk towards it,finally its a laughing dove.again disappointment, there was a little water collection n again i saw a movement n went there.Paragbhai told what was there,i laughed n replied there might be a new species so park moped n come.<br />
while Paragbhai came to me,i saw this The Diamond Necklace n Paragbhai speak "wow".while i was searching bird, Paragbhai was clicking this nature's creation.we clicked with different-different settings with flash.i have Tamron 150-600 so unable to get closure due to its limitation even though clicked at 150mm.<br />

Nani Kakrad(Navsari) Wetland a Birding Heaven of South Gujarat (75+ Species)

<b>Why Gujarat Government is not taking interest to conserve wetlands.Also There is lack of interest by Local Politicians to conserve This Both Wetlands.</b><br />
There are only 2 Big wetland where migratory birds come n stay till water remains in wetland.both are 15-20km away from Navsari,one is at Sultanpur n other is at Nani Kakrad.Water remains in Both wetland till December/January end but Sultanpur Wetland is dried by local villegers who have fish farm near by wetland since starting of October and Nani Kakrad wetland will dried up by Local till December end.<br />
i had spotted 100+ Greater Flamingos at Sultanpur wetland in August.now you can see only dried area.<br />
We have still one Wetland Remains for Bird watching n Photography,Nani Kakrad.<br />
 I was stayed at Bilimora n talked with my friends, Dr.Dharmeshbhai and Dr.Sujitbhai on evening of 16th November to visit Nani Kakrad wetland on 17th early Morning but due to busy schedule at hospital, they didn't came.so around at 7am i went there after driving of 20km.<br />
It was lil cold n foggy morning even around at 7.30am.Find a area beside road for car parking n reached a point of wetland after walking of aprx 1km.<br />
I had decided to sit on ground close to water n sighted so many species with clicking.At around 8.30am here a Birds call/sound/song so i was so curious to find as its of Cranes.n its a wow moments as 500+cranes were coming from east of wetland n land in.took shots of them but they were too much far away from me. <br />

AF Speed Test of Tamron 150-600mm

As seen on YouTube video,this lens work well even though i wanna test speed so did in past 15days but didn't get succeed because of i can not hold the lens properly for long time and during moving toward the subject,i mostly missed the shots.<br />
so today i went with tripod and norming taking shots of swimming duck,heron and ibis.after 2hours i noticed that the ruddy shelduck is coming to water and tried to focus in Aperture-Priority Mode but i missed flying shots due to my tripod so i lift the tripod with camera and focused the duck.but Ruddy Shelduck was started to land on water though i clicked 5shots and here is result.<br />
Don't know why i stopped clicking coz my 600D will click 6-7 click in continuous shooting mode, may be due to weight of lens and camera is lifted with tripod.<br />
anyway enjoy this images for this time and set back for next images for AF Speed Test of Tamron 150-600mm.<br />
