Nal Sarovar Bird Sanctuary is a good place for birders in all season so me n my friend frequently visit there.As a plan we were there on 6th Feb 2016 and choose a morning session for Common Starling.<br />
After good photography of Common Starling,we were returning and i saw a Dalmatian Pelican sitting on a wooden pole made in the lake,i asked my favorite guide cum boatman Akbar to give angle for frame and he managed to move boat with proper sunlight.while we stopped,sudden it jump and stared flying but i was ready n started my machingun...click...click..click...taken 10+ photos and out of all only 2 pics were out of focus.<br />
Pelican settled down on water and made a frame and happy to share it with you.<br />

After successful framing of Common Starling,we were returning on boat,after reaching halfway we see The Airbus A380 aka Dalmatian Pelican was sitting on a pole made in the Lake.it was a pleasant light to take this beauty so i asked to our boatman for direction n got good approach from front.<br />
Dalmatian Pelican was looking so beautiful like as in breeding. we stopped at a safe distance n started clicking,even shot a video(will post in next post). As i noticed,Dalmatian Pelican was ready to fly so i was ready n well focused.Pelican had spread its wing n started clicking with moving my bazooka.Luckily my all 35 shots were in focus,in some photo the wings were little cut as we were close.<br />

we reached Nal sarovar around at 2.30pm and we have only 3hours for good light for photography n birds may fly away for their food.Thanks to my guide Akbar who counted hours remaining for sighting of birds at nal sarovar n moved quickly towards winter birds where they sighted.there were 5-6 Dalmatian Pelican n started clicking from far get lil closure but due to less in number they noticed us n moved inside the lake.<br />
