i had a plan to visit Blackbuck National Park,Velavdar with family in October'16.Before i go there talked with my friend Dr.Bhavesh Mengar and 1day before i was at Pariyej Lake.<br />
i was expecting Winter birds but find nothing new in the lake,around at 5pm i asked to return towards my car.after walking of 100+ mtr,i saw a Red-naped Ibis and i asked mengi to frame this bird so pl walked toward car with my son as my son was 7yrs old that time and might disturb this beauty while i frame it.<br />

 speaking ibis n myself played with each other for 10-15min with close 
distance,i don't know why that bird didn't fly away,itself walked here n 
there.<br />

White Stork

Dr.Pragnesh have a conference on pathology and organized by our batch mate,Dr.Yogesh Mistry at Baroda.Pragnesh told to join him for Pariej Lake as he was not gone there for birding and finally i ended the request of last 7days n i was with him.<br />
we reached aprx 11pm on 18/12/15 n check in. thought for good sleep coz we have to ready by 5.30am to start our journey but Yogesh came at 12am and made lil get together till 2am.even though We left Baroda around at 6.30am. our birding frnd Dr.Bhavesh Mengar join us at near by Sojitra on Anand-Tarapur road.<br />
Mengy
 told us to go 1st at surrounding area of Pariej Lake for White Stork as
 he had clicked 7days before. so we entered thru small road for White 
Stork.after driving of 2-3km he told us to locate for White Stork both 
side of road in a group of Painted Stork.Pragnesh n myself  were looking
 for another new bird but Dr.Mengar was looking for White Stork for us. we did so many stops for clicks 
after clicking of few birds, we were 5+km inside of main road n Pragnesh 
was driving his Ciaz, i was siting beside him n Mengar was siting on 
back,sudden he asked to stop car for looking in group of 5-6 painted 
stork for White Stork n we got lifer.<br />
sudden we came out n very 
carefully started approaching towards the White Stork but cudnt got good shot n 
fly away inside the farm.we walked aprx 1+km inside the farm,luckily we got hide and this time we got good shots.got good this 
shot.<br />

Little Stint Fight

Pariyej/Pariej Lake is a good place for waders so i was again there with my friend Dr.Pragnesh, story posted in <a href="http://www.yugworld.net/2016/09/white-stork-painted-stork.html#.WQuv78aZGM8">White Stork & Painted Stork</a>.<br />
As we were waiting for Small Particole as my friend Dr.Bhavesh Mengar told us since 1pm.we sit at a little dry area just beside the lake.we had waited n waited but got only flying shot of me.Mengi told us,group of small pratincole came this place and we will get closure shots.<br />
around at 2.10pm i saw 2 Little Stint were flying near by me and focus for time pass and clicked in burst mode.all 11 pics were in focus and when i saw in my camera's display and realize that one Little Stint was attacking another Little Stint.<br />

White Stork & Painted Stork

I went Pariej Lake again on 19/12/15 After so many 'no' for birding 
trip with my roomie during my MBBS n friend, Dr.Pragnesh.we reached at Baroda aprx 8.30pm.hotel was given by another friend Dr.Yogesh Mistry.we did get 
together and make little party till 2am at 
Baroda,though Pragnesh wake up at 5.30am as he always wake up early on 
birding day.<br />
We left Baroda around at 6.30am. our birding frnd Dr.Bhavesh Mengar join us at near by Sojitra on Anand-Tarapur road.<br />

Sometimes i feel,i get extra ordinary pics.while we were returning for lunch/breakfast from Pariej Lake on 19/12/15 <a href="http://www.yugworld.net/2015/12/white-stork.html#.V4XlCEc9IqJ">White Stork</a>,we saw Darter n stopped to click it.<br />
As my camera's battery was law,i was taking pics very carefully to avoid unwanted click to save battery and thats why i didn't shoot a video. we get Darter,Indian Cormorants,Little Cormorants and Great Cormorant(?).<br />

Small Pratincole

As i mentioned in my last post of  <a class="OMGM5KC-e-i" href="http://www.yugworld.net/2015/12/white-stork.html#.V4PkoEc9IqI">White Stork</a>, i was on birding with Dr.Pragnesh at Pariej Lake for 
White Stork n Small Pratincole. Many Many Thanks to Dr.Bhavesh 
Mengar,who was with us from 7.30am to 6pm n he work hard for sighting of 
this tiny bird as its name Small Pratincole,its size is 16-19cm n found near water body.its very difficult to sight due to its color.<br />
Around 2pm we had decided to return at Tarapur chokdi for lunch/breakfast.while we were going towards our car,i had sighted  Small Pratincole close to us n started approaching towards it very carefully.i think i was aprx 10mtr away from this beauty n almost near to water so avoid to get inside the water as thought,might be this bird disturbed n fly away.clicked some shots n love this mirror image.<br />
due to intermittent clouds,i had set iso 800 n during this photo-shoot,sudden sunlight was bright n whole pic was filled with extreme light so reduced background light to looks beautiful.<br />

it was around 2.30pm n we decided to leave for breakfast n then return as i hv to go at Anand railway station to catch a train for Surat.while we were return i had seen groups of Greylag Goose lil away from me and tried to approached towards them for good shot.i knew that i will noticed n they fly away so quickly focus them n click one shot,it was ok so when i i go for next shot they started flying n got this osm frame.<br />

we had took many shots from distance then sit at one place where took good shots with pleasant background,this credit to Dr.Pragnesh.<br />
While we were returning after another frnd Dr.Kaushal join us, seen this beauty was taking water bath n cudn't stop myself to take photos.Took many shots,later i will upld those pics.<br />

it was 20/10/15 n my 1st stop for photography trip was at Pariej. All credit to Dr.Bhavesh Mengar coz he was with me for whole morning even though he was busy with his family for garba till late night n around 8am we meet.<br />
as in past post of Pariej lake on Indian Thick-knee & Little Ring Plover, i had mentioned that i was busy in clicking Indian Thick-knee n Dr.Mengar asked to click Little Ring Plover.same thing happened.while i was clicking Little Ring Plover, Dr.Mengar ask to click White-eared Bulbul.<br />
At 1st sighting this bulbul were far away so clicked only 2-3 photos but Dr.Mengar sighted other at just close to road.we were very close to White-eared Bulbul groups. i think i missed to take group photo but captured best moments of Love Bird.<span data-offset-key="de2s4-0-0"><span data-text="true">(will share those love n caring photos)</span></span><br />

When you see good photos taken by your kid,its a very pride moment.i was on birding with my family at Pariej lake,Anand.while i came out from car to taking photos, my son Yug asked to give my old camera so i gave him.Yug is 7yrs old and i see him, he was copying my moves as he seen me when i was taking photos.i told him to go closure of birds with little movement with taking photos.<br />At first he was clicking randomly so most images came blurred.so he complained me, i told him first half press shutter button n if you see the bird is clear then fully click the shutter button.and the result is here.<br />
Little Egret, Intermittent Egret, Eurasian Spoonbill, Black-tailed Godwit.<br />image is little sharpen(even i don't know the proper way of Sharpening) n cropped to 66.97% by me.<br />

Many time i missed or ignored Little Ringed Plover due to its small size.its smallest in plover family n just 14 to 17cm sized.so when i was on birding tour with my wife n son,i had contacted to my friend Dr.Bhavesh Mengar for species found near by Pariej Lake, Anand District, Gujarat.He told me for many winter birds n Little Ringed Plover so i was excited to frame Little Ringed Plover with good shot.<br />
when we entered the lake area, i sighted Thick knee and stopped my car.while i was framing Thick knee,seen Little Ringed Plover n i moved myself to this beauty.took many shots n this one is sharpest for me.<br />

Pariej is a good site for bird watchers n photographers during winter.so i was there on 18/10/15 with my family. i had started my journey from surat to pariej around at 5am by driving car n reached there at 8.30am.my friend Dr.Bhavesh Mengar join me there.<br />
after entering to main wetland/lake i had sighted Thick-knee n stopped to click them.i had clicked them with very good distance so got excellent photos.i had clicked Ring Plover,White-eared Bulbul and other birds,will share later.<br />
